The 007 agent has been played been many different types. Sean Connery was a survival 8 with a 7 wing, Roger Moore a survival 3 with a 2 wing, Timothy Dalton, a one-on-one 7 with a 6 wing and Pierce Brosnon, a one-on-one 3 with a 2 wing. Finally, we have Daniel Craig, a survival 3 with a 4 wing. Now, to get to the heart of the agent and which actor truly captured the agent’s type the best. I would say that James Bond, the character, is closer to Daniel Craig’s type. It’s sort of an enneagram 3, active with a survival subtype—ever the womanizer, also the globe trotter, interested in gadgets, flash over substance. The depth, well, that’s where the 4 wing comes in. And whose to say 3’s can’t be deep. When they turn inward, they can be some of the deepest people. For more on Daniel Craig and James Bond’s enneagram type click enneagram type 3.
